Bradford Kickstart encourages local people and businesses to get involved in our work. There are two main ways you can contribute;
On a regular basis, our enterprise coaches are able to take client’s business development issues to a local panel of business owners, accountants and bankers, who will brainstorm solutions to these issues on behalf of the client. This is an incredibly practical and successful way of contributing to enterprise development in your local area. Meetings are usually held monthly at a local community centre or restaurant. If you feel you could contribute to these panels then contact us at Kickstart and we’ll put you in touch with your local enterprise coach.
Local Management Groups
LMGs provide encouragement, support and strategic direction to their local enterprise coach. This volunteer group meets on a regular basis to discuss how their local enterprise project is working, where it may need additional support and resources, and works to ensure that the coach is well supported towards the goal of helping people into self employment and small business. If you would like to discuss joining your Local Management Group as a vounteer then contact Kickstart and we’ll put you in touch with your local LMG chairperson for an informal chat.
And everyone can help!
Kickstart exists to help people achieve their full potential through business activity. If you know of someone who has a dream to work for themselves or create a business, or perhaps an existing business owner who needs a helping hand, then encourage them to contact us at Kickstart.
