Using Social Media to Benefit Your Business (Intermediate Level) Workshop

 This workshop is designed for business people who are already using social media to promote their businesses and particularly those who feel they could be getting more out of it.  This interactive workshop will look at the use of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and will benefit you most if you have your laptops or tablets with you.  The workshop leaders will assume that you already have accounts set up on these three platforms and that you have engaged with all three, even if just at a basic level.  The course is also an excellent follow on for anyone who has attended the ‘Introduction to Social Media’ Workshop.

Completing Your Self-Assessment Return Workshop – 7th May 2015

Date and time – 09:30 – 13:00

Thursday 7th May 2015

Venue – Trident Enterprise Centre, Boardroom, Park Lane, Bradford, BD5 0LN

This workshop is for business owners who have been trading for 6 months or more and are now due to make a self-assessment return for the Tax Year 2014-15.

The session will be in 2 parts with first being a presentation by and discussion led by a qualified accountant. This will cover the key information that you will require to complete your self-assessment return and the format of the return.

The second part will provide you with the opportunity to have a 5 minute one to one conversation with the workshop leader regarding any issues concerning your own individual return.

Should you require more than a 5 minute conversation, you can arrange to book this separately with the workshop leader. This would be on a paid for basis.

If you have been trading in the Tax Year 2014-15 then HMRC require you to complete and submit a paper based self-assessment return by 31st October 2015 or if you are submitting it on-line then the latest date is 31st January 2016. Therefore by attending this workshop you can ensure that you should be well ahead of the deadlines.
