 This workshop is designed for people who have a business or working in one and is also a good follow on from the ‘Successfully and affordably marketing your business’ workshop.  Here you will look at:

  • The vision for your business
  • Where your business sits in the market place and where you’d like it to be
  • What you are selling and to whom
  • Customer characteristics
  • Choosing the right marketing channels
  • Drafting your Marketing plan

It is our intention that by the end of this workshop you will have an outline Marketing Plan written, a plan that should be able to be implemented immediately.

 This straight forward workshop is intended for anyone planning to start their own business, those in their early trading stages or those who just want to be sure they’re on top of their Tax affairs.  It will help you get your business organised, ensuring adequate records are kept and that you know what they are.

It starts by covering how you register with HMRC and continues by explaining what you can claim as a business expense, how to establish your book keeping system, how you pay National Insurance and how any tax liability, you may have, will be calculated.  The session should also help you to understand your business better enabling you to focus on the most profitable areas.
